SAM AI Studio ("the app", "we") helps shops keep their sales, stock, khata and personal accounts. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.

1. Your business data stays on your phone

Products, sales, purchases, expenses, customers, suppliers, accounts and personal hisab are stored only on your device. We do not upload them to our servers. Backups you make are saved as files on your phone, and you choose where to share them.

2. Information we collect for your account

When you create an account we store: your email address, the shop name and phone number you enter, a device ID (Android ID), the app version, the dates you joined and last opened the app, and your Pro subscription status. We use this only to log you in, keep your subscription working when you change phone, and provide support.

3. Payments

Pro subscriptions are bought through Google Play. Google handles all payment details; we never see your card or wallet information. We only receive a purchase token to confirm that your subscription is active.

4. Phone permissions

• Camera — only to scan barcodes. Images are not saved or sent anywhere.
• Bluetooth — only to print on a paired receipt printer.
• Internet — for login, subscription checks, and services you turn on yourself.
• Files — only when you save or restore a backup or export a report.

5. Services you connect yourself

If you add your own API keys for courier companies (Steadfast, Pathao, RedX), an SMS provider or a fraud-check provider, the app sends the needed order or phone details directly from your phone to that company. Their own privacy policies apply. Your API keys stay on your phone.

6. What we don't do

We do not show ads, sell your data, or share it with third parties for marketing.

7. Deleting your data

You can delete your account any time in the app: More → General → Delete my account. This removes your account and profile from our server and clears the business data in the app on that phone. You can also ask us by email — see Delete account. We delete account data within 30 days of a request.

8. Security

Connections to our server use HTTPS. Account data is stored with Supabase, protected so each user can only read their own profile.

9. Children

The app is made for business owners and is not directed at children under 13.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
